Community Event Casino
Scope:
Community Event Casinos (CEC) aim to provide the opportunity for not-for-profit groups to host a fundraising event at Diamond Tooth Gerties and to receive a donation from DTG. Typically only one night per weekend will be utilized for CEC events, however special exceptions may be made at the sole discretion of KVA and DTG management.
Eligibility:
CEC’s are open to all not-for-profit or charitable groups. Priority is given to Dawson City based groups, groups with a track record of hosting successful CECs, and groups whose event benefits visitation, Gerties, and/or quality of life in Dawson City.
Donation Amount:
Groups will receive net bar proceeds (after liquor, staff, and other associated expenses) or $1,000, whichever is greater.
Deadline for Submission:
Deadline to apply to host a CEC is November 1, annually. If this falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline moves to the next business day.
